I've always been a big believer in snack time. As a child, tasty after-school snacks were the highlight of every school day. As a grad student now, delicious snacks keep me fueled and motivated, no matter how busy my day becomes. But finding a scrumptious snack that's full of high-quality ingredients is harder than it sounds...which is where Clover Sonoma - and my delicious mini blueberry cheesecake bagels - come in!

3-Ingredient Blueberry Cheesecake Bagels (Gluten Free, Egg Free)

Clover is a 100-year-old, family owned and operated dairy company from Petaluma, California. How are they different than a lot of other dairy brands out there? Well, Clover was the first dairy in the U.S. to become American Humane Certified for the humane treatment of their cows. As a newly certified B Corporation, Clover also meets high standards of social and environmental performance. (In other words, their company does just as much good for the world as their yogurt does for our taste buds!). And thanks to their Clover Promise of Excellence, Clover ensures that all the small family farms they work with have the same values and standards.

Of course, I'm also a huge fan of the fact that all of Clover Sonoma's products are "gluten-free, with the exception of specific ice cream flavors that will be labeled as containing ‘wheat’ in the nutrition section." Which is how I know that Clover's quirky mascot, Clo the Cow, is over the moooon about me transforming Clover Sonoma's Whole Milk Greek Yogurt into some delicious gluten free bagels!

Since Clover's Greek Yogurt is high in protein and calcium, low in sugar and packed with juicy organic fruit, these bagels are also the ideal mid-morning or afternoon snack when you're craving something sweet. Plus, they're portable, super kid-friendly and only require three ingredients (plus the optional toppings) and less than 45 minutes to make!

How to Make Your Gluten Free Bagels

Making these Greek Yogurt bagels is a pretty dang easy, and it all starts by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. While your oven is heating up, pour your self-rising flour (or your gluten free all purpose flour and baking powder) into a bowl with a little cinnamon. Mix thoroughly, and then open a Clover Sonoma Blueberry Whole Milk Greek Yogurt (you can use another flavor instead, but for the blueberry cheesecake flavor, blueberry is ideal!). Clover's Greek Yogurt works perfectly for this recipe because Clover strains their yogurt in small batches, which makes it super thick and creamy - exactly what you need for bagels.

Mix the yogurt very well and then pour it into your dry mixture. After mixing your wet and dry components collectively in the bowl some instances, your gluten free bagel dough need to be crumbly and a touch sticky.

Once you?Ve integrated all the elements, gently flour a counter or baking mat and kneed your bagel dough until it holds collectively and is pliable without being overly sticky. I like my snacks on the smaller aspect, so I made mini gluten free bagels and separated my dough into seven roughly identical parts. For large bagels, just use extra dough for each. Whatever length you select, you will roll every phase right into a cylinder beneath your palm, and then form them into circular bagels.

Next, lightly coat your bagels in aquafaba. You could also use egg wash, but aquafaba (or the liquid from a can of chickpeas) is an egg-free option that will give you the same browning effect. The final step to this gluten free bagel recipe is sprinkling on any of your optional toppings. I used chia seeds, extra cinnamon and açaí powder, but you can use whatever toppings are calling your name.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper (caution: these gluten unfastened bagels get crunchy on the bottom and generally tend persist with some thing they're cooked on) and dad your bagels into the oven for around 24 minutes. Once they've cooked, you can give your bagels deliciously browned tops by shifting your baking tray to the top oven rack and putting the oven on low broil for 2 minutes. Rotate the tray midway through and be sure to preserve your eye at the bagels while they broil. They will brown outstanding quick!

How to Turn These Gluten Free Bagels Into the Ultimate Snack

After your gluten unfastened bagels are accomplished baking, you may dive right in! If you want the overall blueberry cheesecake bagel enjoy, I?D propose packing the subsequent candies in your lunch field: one or two of those homemade blueberry bagels, a handful of clean or frozen berries and one Clover Sonoma Organic Cream on Top Blueberry Yogurt! This yogurt functions sparkling fruit on the bottom, thick yogurt in the center and a layer of natural cream on pinnacle, which makes it an addictively creamy dip in your gluten loose bagels.
